About
Emre Mutlu, Shopify Hydrogen developer based in Ankara.
I am a senior Shopify Hydrogen and Liquid developer focused on
production storefronts, Storefront API work, Shopify Plus decisions,
performance, SEO, and storefront fit decisions for growth-stage
commerce teams.
Public proof
My Upwork profile currently shows Top Rated Plus status, 100% Job
Success, 6 total jobs, and 1,961 total hours. It lists Shopify
Hydrogen, Liquid, Shopify Plus, React, GraphQL, TypeScript, Remix, and
ecommerce skills, plus selected work including Rebel Bunny, Bayam
Jewelry, and EveShop.
I also publish focused Hydrogen service and decision content through
HydrogenExpert. That site
documents three production Shopify Hydrogen storefronts, EveShop at
400K+ users, 1,900+ Upwork hours, 32K+ LinkedIn followers, and my
senior-led service model.
The first-party case-study page keeps the same entity signal in one
crawlable place: Emre Mutlu -
Shopify Hydrogen & Liquid Developer case studies.
Shopify work
Public references include Rebel Bunny, EVE Shop, Bayam Jewelry,
Clohi, and the Shopify Hydrogen and GraphQL Udemy course. The work
spans Hydrogen storefronts, Liquid themes, Shopify Plus context,
product discovery, mobile UX, and ecommerce performance.
Teaching
My Udemy course, Shopify Hydrogen & GraphQL Storefront API
Development, is listed with 3,851 students, 112 ratings, 7 sections,
44 lectures, and 3h 24m of content as of May 14, 2026.
Background
My public profile and portfolio list frontend engineering
experience across Shopify, React, React Native, Next.js, GraphQL,
TypeScript, GIS applications, fintech products, B2B systems, and
production ecommerce launches.
How I work
I work best when the project needs a direct senior operator instead of
a large agency layer. On Shopify projects, I separate the business
decision from the implementation decision: sometimes the right move is
Hydrogen, sometimes it is a better Liquid theme, and sometimes the
useful first step is a smaller audit before any rebuild.
My default standard is conservative proof. I prefer linking to Upwork,
Udemy, HydrogenExpert, and the public storefronts instead of inventing
private metrics or showing badges that are not supported by a public
source.
